This flies against Mitt Romney's stance that it should remain illegal. Throughout the Obama Administrations first four years, though touting a position of "Non-Interference" with State Voter mandates for Medical Cannabis, the President has headed a steadily escalating crackdown on such dispensaries.
Ryan stated, "My personal position on these issues has been let the states decide what they want to do with these things," he explains. "This is something that is not a high priority of ours."
Voters in Colorado will decide whether to legalize medical marijuana this November with Amendment 64 on the ballot.
